***Flawless — Leo's Blog 1.2

Blog 11.1.2. Another fortnight, another blog! Today's blog will include the words from the AEP quiz, just to quiz me a little! So, allow us to embark on this journey to learning a bunch of lexis for business, which we will hopefully be remunerated for well in the coming quiz and exam (if there is one).

So, last week, I ended up being a little tardy for last week's convention unfortunately. However, I came just as the morning warm-up (Wordle) was finished, and everyone was sitting quietly, mitigating the pain of hearing the purveyor of words (Ms. Disa) speak to us while our blank minds tried to conceive any form of language in the middle of the morning. It was like she was trying to touch our intangible minds by gracing us with some tranche of words.

Then, we began by typing in words into the infamous wheel of doom, which stared at us from the screen like a bank that was about to repossess our unpaid taxes! We capitulated all of our favorite words only for fate to make us plead for mercy! Exaggerations aside, we had learnt a lot of new and familiar words, as well as reinforced our knowledge to each of their definitions.

The week later, there was no classes due to heavy rainfall. Unfortunately, we did not do more due to the period being taken away. But! I will be catching you up on more exciting blogs! See you next time!

"Before The Coffee Gets Cold" by Toshikazu Kawaguchi || Book Synopsis

But, there’s a catch: they must return to the present before the coffee in front of them cools, or risk losing themselves eternally in the past.  " Before The Coffee Gets Cold ", a novel by author Toshikazu Kawaguchi, tells of four heartwarming, contemplative tales of a magical cafe's patrons that all interweave in the most little, yet enchanting ways. The first, a forlorn woman who seeks to mend a strained relationship before it becomes irrevocably broken, while the second hopes to acquire an explanation from a departed companion. A third character wishes to revist and undo a moment of regret, and the final traveler longs for one final brush with someone they had lost. The immutable and all-consuming nature of time unveils itself as each of the four's journeys progress, gently guiding them to acceptance.  The book uses charming prose juxtapo...

AEP Reflection 5 “Deep and meaningful”

Welcome back you all to another AEP blog! Today, Ill try my best to express things through words! Probably! Today was crazy.. currently in my car and I think I have to word things well here.. So, lets get started!  Today in AEP class, the atmosphere was calm, with the usual quietness filling the room. It felt like a regular session as we were handed a single sheet of paper for the activity just like the last meeting. This simplicity was becoming a pattern~and I found comfort in it.  As we settled in, the familiar voice from Ms. Disa’s phone once again guided us through the task. This time, we were presented with a checklist that asked us to select words we believed best described who we are. On the back of the sheet, the task became more challenging, as we had to choose the words that we felt defined us “perfectly”. It made me think harder about what truly represents me. When it came time for me to reflect, I chose family, art, and leadership. It was difficult to narrow down t...
