This is my first blog for the second term. It's hard to believe it's November already, but here we are. AEP is still one of my favorite subjects, and feels "refreshing" in a way. Anyways, I'll start the blog now.

This was the first face to face class we had in a while (We had online classes, followed by major subject finals). Most of the first period was just chit-chat, but our main activity that day was Scrabble. The teams looked like they'd been divided by Asian regions -- Southeast Asian (Me & Scarlet) vs West Asian (Muhsin & Busra) vs East Asian (Sayo & Jia). It was challenging for me, honestly. I'm not good at Scrabble. Mine & Scarlet's bad letters combined with our competition caused us to lose by a large margin compared to the others - at least we tried !! Busra & Muhsin did pretty good placing in 2nd, and Jia & Sayo won the game. Busra's pretty experienced in Scrabble, and Jia's pretty good at word games in general. Muhsin & Sayo were good to their team and managed to coordinate. Additionally, some teams managed to get around 30-40 points in 1 turn - the triple/double word squares are insane. In the end, the scorings were 26-57-68. Good game everyone !!

Ana was allowed to come back + Iskandar joined! (Random off-topic information: Miss called Iskandar Batman, which was funny. Hopefully things weren't too hard for him..)
That day, we mostly played Squaredle. We also did part of the exam we missed, and some listening exercises. For one of the listening exercises, I was on the wrong page for the first recording! I only noticed by the second. For that particular exercise, we didn't do a third recording, so I didn't recheck my answers. Once I realized, I had that small feeling of regret and the sudden realization that I'd messed up.
Moving on to Squaredle, we managed to get all 38 words! (We also got around ~10+ bonus words). We used 2 reveals, (and 1 word help from Ms Disa); 1 reveal was available by default, and the other was available from getting the bonus word of the day, 'nous'. Apparently, it means common sense or intellect. I'd say most of us contributed a lot to the game, and the last 10 minutes felt intense. At some point, it just reached trial and error, and guessing random combinations of letters that sound like words. Ironically enough, the words at the end were pretty common (like 'minus' and 'minor').
So far, overall, AEP has been good, and has improved some of our skills :))
