Blog #1 (S2) - Kristine

 First blog for this term! It seems like time truly does fly fast.

Three weeks ago we had our first meeting for this term. Miss Disa began the class by making us play Strands and afterward telling us what we were gonna do for this term. She also asked us about which topics we didn't understand/needed help in. We then played Scrabble for the whole second period. Almira won. That was pretty fun, I enjoyed it a lot. Come to think of it, the only reason why I know how to play Scrabble is because of AEP.

Today is our third meeting for this term. We played Squardle as our warm-up game today. After playing Squardle, we did a seatwork. The seatwork was hard. I got confused and lost. Anyway after that, we had to read a DOGOnews article about Utqiaġvik, Alaska and how the town will experience its final sunset for this year on November 19, 2024. According to the article, they'll see the sun again on January 23, 2024 (65 days of no Sun, wow!). We then played Waffle and Contexto since we had extra time. We did quite a lot today.

 I haven’t written a blog for quite a long time, and I also haven’t attended aep class for 3 weeks because I went to vacation in Boracay and there was the Musicals and the most recent one was the Holy week, to be honest I dont really remember what we did for aep for the past few weeks I was in class and as long as I can remember we did scrabble and did our seatwork. I dont know what to write about since I dont have anything to talk about the class since I was absent for quite a long time, anyways for the past few weeks I was  absent from aep class I did some cool activities and visited two different islands.  Roughly two weeks ago, I went to Boracay for vacation since it was Eid so we decided to go there for a week I had so much fun there and I really enjoyed it because I went snorkelling and did some other water sports activities. Now the second time I was absent for aep was because of the musicals, it was techinacally a holiday but I think I kinda enjoyed it unfortunate...

the cost of giving up — Leowyn Blog 3.3

 Today was the assignment of the final, retrospective blog we would do to encapsulate everything we've seen and learnt in AEP for Grade 11. It's a miracle I'm still smiling across the hallways, filled with days where I'm really just like "what is happening?" This year has really went by so fast and so soon, so here I am, in the final stretch of the year, seeking solace in the summer break (which I won't be getting due to college applications and my AS Levels.) Here's the rundown of what we've done in each term, paired with the titles of my blogs on those terms: Term One: eternal sunshine, ***Flawless, The Joker, Repeat Term 1 was one of the most grueling terms for me in AEP, mainly because of the unit topics. Helloooo!!! How is everyone?? Yup, I am late again, like always — and this time, I really am not sure what to write, as I am constantly getting demolished every day with Cambridge. If you were wondering where I was all this time… well, I was just doing past papers!! OKAY — so this blog was due weeks ago, and the reason I missed it (it’s not procrastination this time!!) is that I was absent during the last two weeks of classes that semester. For one of them, we had our stats mock for Cambridge, which I wonderfully failed, and for the next absence… I don't even remember what happened to me. Maybe I was just dead doing all the past papers.
