AEP Reflection “The new year”

Welcome back readers, to your favorite AEP reflection.. okay.. Its getting a bit hard calling these reflections and frankly I dont see myself getting used to calling these posts as reflections. In my heart, they will always be blogs!

This week’s AEP classes have been our ‘ease into the year’ type of thing. If I were to numerically list everything, we did not necessarily do a lot of things after the break ended mostly because we had to deal with our post holiday depression.

Its scrabble, scrabble and scrabble! Im trying to sound enthusiastic but low and behold this writer right here has a love hate relationship with scrabble. Though as much as Id like to nag about it; I really have to admit how useful having scrabble before lunch is.. I realised how much faster my mind works after AEP class every wednesday. Which mind you, is the most lazy day of the whole school week.

With that being said, we are going to be doing interviews!! Which im quite excited about. Making our own persona is something I haven’t done in a while.. Im definitely looking forward to that.

AEP Reflection 5 “Deep and meaningful”

Welcome back you all to another AEP blog! Today, Ill try my best to express things through words! Probably! Today was crazy.. currently in my car and I think I have to word things well here.. So, lets get started! Today in AEP class, the atmosphere was calm, with the usual quietness filling the room. It felt like a regular session as we were handed a single sheet of paper for the activity just like the last meeting. This simplicity was becoming a pattern~and I found comfort in it. As we settled in, the familiar voice from Ms. Disa’s phone once again guided us through the task. This time, we were presented with a checklist that asked us to select words we believed best described who we are. December 11, 2024 - Hurdle Defeats us Starting off a game never knowing it will defeat us is truly the most humbling experience in AEP. And in this case, it was Hurdle. Everyone thinks it’s over, but it always comes back to us. It’s truly a battle, a battle between choosing which letters were correct and the placement of it. It was quite humbling to see at the end how blind we were during the game. We did a worksheet that included a graph and filled in the blanks. Other than that, we all recited one detail about a different graph and also read example answers. It wasn’t too difficult or anything like that since I adapted to doing these types of activities. January 8, 2025 - Defeated once again Once again, Hurdle returns to us. But it was quite different, it was somewhat similar to wordle, but you do it multiple times in a row until you lose.
