Blog 3.3 - Kristine

The last blog for this school year. 1 more month until school ends. I still kind of can't believe that a year has nearly passed. Anyway, this blog contains the Padlet logs for the whole month of March.

March 4, 2025. The warm up for class that day was playing Deluxe Waffle. Afterwards, we did a seatwork. We learned about instructive texts. Once done with the seatwork, we played Contexto. It was basically a normal AEP meeting.

March 11, 2025. The day of our midterms. I had just finished doing the Cambridge checkpoint mock exams before going to class. Personally, this was the chillest midterm I've done this school year. We just had to write about ourselves (our personalities) and cross out other people's traits that we thought didn't suit them and then afterward add a trait we thought did suit them. I struggled quite a bit, trying to think of what to write (for myself and for my classmates). It was pretty nice and funny hearing other people's traits. I enjoyed doing a midterm for once. 

March 18, 2025. We didn't do much since the midterms were in a couple of days. We just played Scrabble for both periods. Selim won the first game and then I won the second one. It was fun playing.

March 25, 2025. We played the x32 variant of Wordle and afterward did a seatwork. The seatwork was about analyzing texts. Another normal AEP meeting.

Sorry for posting my blog late, Miss Disa. I forgot to create a blog due to the musical and was also pretty tired after the musical. Thank you for reading my last blog for this school year!

AEP Reflection 5 “Deep and meaningful”

Welcome back you all to another AEP blog! Today, Ill try my best to express things through words! Probably! Today was crazy.. currently in my car and I think I have to word things well here.. So, lets get started!  Today in AEP class, the atmosphere was calm, with the usual quietness filling the room. It felt like a regular session as we were handed a single sheet of paper for the activity just like the last meeting. This simplicity was becoming a pattern~and I found comfort in it.  As we settled in, the familiar voice from Ms. Disa’s phone once again guided us through the task. This time, we were presented with a checklist that asked us to select words we believed best described who we are. Aleena Imran - Grade 9 - Blog 2.2

  December 11, 2024 - Hurdle Defeats us Starting off a game never knowing it will defeat us is truly the most humbling experience in AEP. And in this case, it was Hurdle. Everyone thinks it’s over, but it always comes back to us. It’s truly a battle, a battle between choosing which letters were correct and the placement of it. It was quite humbling to see at the end how blind we were during the game. We did a worksheet that included a graph and filled in the blanks. Other than that, we all recited one detail about a different graph and also read example answers. It wasn’t too difficult or anything like that since I adapted to doing these types of activities. January 8, 2025 - Defeated once again Once again, Hurdle returns to us. But it was quite different, it was somewhat similar to wordle, but you do it multiple times in a row until you lose.
