After the concept of mental health, it is natural that physical health comes next. Physical health is basically the status of your body if mental health is the status of your brain. While mental health is important, physical health shouldn't be looked down upon because it really affects your lifestyle and people will treat you differently depending on whether you look like DiCaprio or a whale. As people say, body positivity is good and all until you die of diabetes or malnutrition.
The article we were told to read had information on what causes poor physical health and what causes good physical health. They were talking about the lifestyles of people and the food consumed in different regions. The passage was just mainly talking smack about Americans and their filthy lifestyles comparing them to the Japanese who consume healthier meals. Other than that, there were mentions about exercising and frequent workouts to keep your body in check.
While the article talked about all of these, there was also a checklist that allowed us to make sure whether our physical and mental health was good and all. It asked questions regarding our nutrition or social experiences. While my score wasn't particularly high, at the moment, I think I'm probably fine and won't die to some unforeseen circumstances yet. Either way, these questionaires helped us remember the state our body is in.
Other than that we just yapped about our lifestyles and compared each other's scores for no particular reason. It felt really weird though as people don't usually talk about this so casually, I was fine with it though.
