Reflection 4 - Hong

We did presentations and we got it reviewed. I got it reviewed, we all did. After getting reviewed, I learned a few things. First thing I learned, is to use a background related to the presentation, because I used a superhero background for a presentation about Instagram. I had decent time management but another issue I had was having too many words in my presentation, we were all using too many words and we had to get lectured on why not to use them and learned about this thing called death by powerpoint. Other than that, I only had an issue with the size of my images which I fixed pretty quickly. I guess I should include the one about movement and interaction but I think I'm fine with that.

Reflection 4 -- SEM 2 -- Adi Syachrin

How to Avoid Death by PPT (Immortality style) by Adi Syachrin (This essay will be my own personal reminder to how I will do my future presentations from now on so please don't hold too many expectations for formality 😪😪) Presentations are a dime a dozen and there seems to be a continuous repeat of them that always occurs from your school days and even during your working hours. For several people, there is a certain type of anxiety that creeps in through your fingertips and crawls through your shoulders and down to the pits of your stomach every time the idea of a presentation is entertained. And it is perfectly understandable to have that sort of fear. As I finished my last and final presentation, Miss Disa commented on how I have made some improvements but some of my methods regress instead. Although this much is unavoidable since we only had three total presentations to do and there are only so much you can learn in that amount of time. Despite what I have learned in the past ...

AEP Reflection #2.4

Today, this reflection will be a little different.. rather than my typical essay — I figured I’ll also use this as my own reminder/checklist whenever I need to present.   Lets get straight to it!  Presented a total of 3 presentations  Topic: Melanie Elturk and her significance as an entrepreneur  Main topic: *slightly changed from the 3 presentations About her significance as a muslim entrepreneur  What did I do following the three presentations  Presentation was premade (reused from an old class)  reviewed it only a few times before class (first and second attempt) I did not bring any prop Sent presentation through google classroom Points of improvement and recommendations: Use a prop(aka: hijab)  engage with the audience through games and quizzes Larger fonts to accommodate a poorer board  Larger pictures to accommodate a poorer board  Speak slowly (and surely)  Be in time with timer given  Speak about a specific topic...

haiku/reflection 4/Nada

This week has been a mix of growth and challenges, especially in terms of my presentation skills and a demanding academic schedule. Reflecting on my presentation journey, I’ve noticed significant improvement. In the past, I struggled with organizing my ideas and delivering them confidently. However, with practice and feedback, I’ve learned to structure my points more effectively and maintain a clear and steady tone while speaking. I’ve also become more comfortable using visuals to engage my audience, transforming my approach from nervousness to enthusiasm. All basically rely on good posture and communication skills or public speaking. Ensure of the resources of the content. On the other hand, this week was chaotic due to multiple quizzes. The constant rescheduling by teachers made it especially stressful, as each change disrupted my study plans. At times, it felt overwhelming to keep adjusting and staying on top of everything. However, I managed to adapt and prioritize my tasks, ...

Reflection 3

The week was gratifying, at least with the Sport Fest being the most delightful part of the week. The atmosphere was incredible, and it was thrilling to see the crowds supporting the teams, as well as partaking in the many activities that were arranged. From relays to football, badminton, bowling and more games, the entire experience was fascinating, and it was wonderful to be involved in it. I can say I gave my all in the events that I picked and enjoyed myself immensely, even though I can’t say I was victorious all the time even if I was only cheering for my team. However, the week was not just about the sports. I also found time for some of my other interests such as playing dress to impress and DTI which I used to cool off after all the activities. Another wonderful moment was being outside, especially on the beach. Strolling on the sand and enjoying the calmness made the busy week more bearable. All in all, it was a combination of a hectic week with lots of activities and a ve...

Abdullah Basil Reflection 3#

Today is my last presentation and as I said I changed the topic to a topic that is easier to understand and also to present when I finish the class like my presentation and also my equations miss disa said to me that the made a big improvement in my presentation and I’m very happy .

Abdullah Basil Reflection #2

Today is my second presentation I learn that the presentation has to be more photos less words and from the presenter he has to understand the idea so that he can present my second presentation was also not good and I decided to make a new topic because mine is too hard to present and also learn so many stuff that can improve my skills at writing a presentation I can’t wait next week to present.

Abdullah Basil Reflection #1

Our goal this 5 weeks is to know how to write presentations and how to present it today is my first presentation and it was not good the last 10 min of the class miss disa will discuss about what do we need to improve our presentation and my goal is learn from the presenters and let’s see how I will improve my presentation

Reflection 3 - Hong

After the previous two presentations we had made, we went on with the final run where we basically improve whatever item we were criticized on. Some of the other people didn't finish yet but at least I did so I don't need to worry about it anymore. All I did was basically adjust the image to be bigger and make it less "offensive", even though I didnt know which part made it offensive. Otherwise I didnt have issues with time and just chilled basically  I think my classmates also had a pretty significant improvement which are pretty acknowledgable. However of course there were some that are still lacking.

hakim reflection 3

I didn't get to present my presentation about cats this week. Very unfortunately, I was last in order of presenting and we ran out of time for me to present. Incredibly unfortunate indeed. I would say I am the most unfortunate out of all my classmates and friends in aep class. They all needed to present three times and I only needed to present two times. My thoughts for this week's presentation is that a lot of people have improved. One that caught my eye is fahad, the reason might be because he actually chose a topic that he is passionate about which is the game, valorant instead of juice world. He was more confident in his speech and was just better in general. The best presentation would have to be adi with her flower presentation. She even brought a peace lily that was wilted but the effort was there so i like that. I asked Miss Disa if i can bring an actual cat but she said no sadly. She said that to not take cats out of their comfort zone as that would make the cat feel d...

Reflection 3 -- SEM 2 -- Adi Syachrin

Finished the last and final presentation!! And I think it went pretty well. To be fair, I think I cheated a little bit when I used my own timer to do my presentation (I am really bad at gauging the time) but it all worked out pretty well. Backpacking off of my last presentation, as well as my last reflection, I mentioned that I'll be doing another game format in order to further engage the audience. Where last time I only showed pictures on screen that were rather hard to see, I did as promised and brought a real flower to this presentation! I was quite in a hurry as I had plans to actually just buy flowers from my nearest grocery store but I didn't have the time, so I ended up stealing one from Santolan Plaza on my way home on Tuesday. Oops... Eh, whatever. It was a singular Peace Lily. No one would miss it, right? I chose a rarer flower on purpose to make the game more engaging. Roses and daisies are a dime a dozen and everyone can easily guess their meanings and names. Howe...
