AEP Reflection #2.4

 Today, this reflection will be a little different.. rather than my typical essay — I figured I’ll also use this as my own reminder/checklist whenever I need to present. 


Lets get straight to it! 


  • Presented a total of 3 presentations 
  • Topic: Melanie Elturk and her significance as an entrepreneur 
  • Main topic: *slightly changed from the 3 presentations About her significance as a muslim entrepreneur 


What did I do following the three presentations 

  • Presentation was premade (reused from an old class) 
  • reviewed it only a few times before class
  • (first and second attempt) I did not bring any prop
  • Sent presentation through google classroom


Points of improvement and recommendations:


  • Use a prop(aka: hijab) 
  • engage with the audience through games and quizzes
  • Larger fonts to accommodate a poorer board 
  • Larger pictures to accommodate a poorer board 
  • Speak slowly (and surely) 
  • Be in time with timer given 
  • Speak about a specific topic especially if time allotted is only 3-5mins 
  • Practice properly and adequately before the presentation(as many times as I can, considering my workload) 


Comments from Miss: 

  • There wqs some sort of improvement from the three presentations, but I got worse in some other aspects
  • The main goal here is to practice and record yourself, since you do not realise how you present until you see yourself
  • Utilise technology and props
  • Utilise the room and everywhere else
  • A presentation does not mean automatically using a PPT

AEP Reflection 5 “Deep and meaningful”

Welcome back you all to another AEP blog! Today, Ill try my best to express things through words! Probably! Today was crazy.. currently in my car and I think I have to word things well here.. So, lets get started!  Today in AEP class, the atmosphere was calm, with the usual quietness filling the room. It felt like a regular session as we were handed a single sheet of paper for the activity just like the last meeting. This simplicity was becoming a pattern~and I found comfort in it.  As we settled in, the familiar voice from Ms. Disa’s phone once again guided us through the task. Synopsis and Title - Summer Valdez

 Title:  The Last Battle by C.S.
