February 18, 2025 - Failed Duotrigordle?
Ever since the year started, we have been trying out new warmups other than the ones we usually do such as wordle, hurdle, waffle and others. In this short lesson, we were given the choice to play Duotrigordle, which has become one of our new favorites. It’s basically solving 37 wordles at once, but you have to guess it in a certain amount of guesses.
It took us a long time to finish it, around over 20 minutes. This game required a lot of thinking since there’s multiple words to guess at once. Most of the time, it was Sid guessing and talking.
We didn’t exactly fail Duotrigordle, we didn’t guess all the words in the required amount of guesses, but we were still able to proceed guessing, but there’s no winning or awards. I was able to guess a few words, quite surprising since I usually don’t do much in the warmup.
February 26, 2025 - Almost Failing Wordle?
Since we didn’t have much time to waste since its shortened periods, we started off with a warm up right away. This time it was Wordle, a classic. For this warm up, Ms Disa was the one holding the pen, something different than we usually do.
For the first two guesses, none of it has correct or misplaced letters, just fully wrong. On the third try, we only got two letters “A” and “R”. After a lot of thinking, Kuk was able to guess the word “Award” on the second last try. I found this game experience quite strange since we usually guess the word in the first three tries.
After that, we received our exam papers, which weren’t the best. We checked the exam papers and saw our mistakes, quite humbling after thinking I did well. We also received a paper Ms made with ChatGPT, containing all the answers for the exam. Afterwards, Ms explained the answer sheet and how we should use AI to help us but not fully answer our work.
Lastly, we did a worksheet which contained maps. We had to compare the two maps, and then write the following letter to the correct answer. The letters contained sentences that connected the sentences about the maps. It was quite confusing as Ms didn’t double check when she printed it, but we had our own ways of answering the questions. We were all asked to give one sentence comparing the two maps.
