Junior year has been this never-ending blur of the same routine as I continue to count down the days to graduation. Kidding... well, sometimes. But here we are, so let's get straight to our agenda for today!
Picking up where we left off (of what I deemed a cliffhanger), Miss Disa handed us worksheets on the unit of Crime and Punishment. By the end of the period, we had covered everything from the lexicon of crime to the perpetrators and their collocates.
I've mentioned this before, but there's something deeply satisfying about coming across these vocabulary words in real life. It's like a moment where I think, Ah, this is why I'm learning it.
I was absent on one of the AEP classes- the time when we my classmates had their exams scheduled. Luckily, I was able to take it the following week, along with Shasmeen, after my chemistry exam. As I was writing down my answers, I was just so excited to go home and be free from the trenches of exam week. So, you could guess I submitted it early, but it went well, nevertheless.
That's all for this blog. As always, thank you for reading this and I'm hoping to see you in the next one!
Signing off,
Meral
